Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB exam) Preparation Books


The banking industry is facing an acute shortage of trained employees at all levels which has led to the requirement of JAIIB and CAIIB examinations. JAIIB examination aims at providing the basic knowledge in banking and financial services, customer relations, accountancy and banking technology which are necessary to carry out day to day banking operations.  Only candidates who have cleared JAIIB or the part 1 of Associate examination are eligible to appear for CAIIB examination.
This examination is open to all members working in the banking industry and minimum qualification to appear for the examination is matriculation and above. Candidates are allowed to attempt for the examination either in Hindi or English and should clearly fill in the choice of the medium while filling the application form. JAIIB examination is conducted under offline mode and in online mode at selected centers.




JAIIB is one among the important examinations in the banking sector. Clearing this examination is necessary to climb the ladder in banking industry. 3) Guide to JAIIB Legal & Regulatory Aspects of Banking: This book is written by N S Toor and Arundeep Toor and published by Skylark publications. This covers the legal and regulatory aspects in banking sector.
4) JAIIB workbook on principles of Banking /accounting and finance for bankers/legal aspects of Banking: This book is published by Taxmann publications Pvt Ltd. 
5) IIB – Basic Accountancy: This book is written by JAIIB cell and published by Macmillan publications. This is an excellent guide for accountancy.
