Candidates applying for Combined Medical services Exam should ensure that they fill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Who are eligible for Combined Medical services (CMS) examination 2013?
Age Limit: Only candidates below 32 years (on 1st Jan 2013) are eligible for this examination.
Education Qualification: Only candidates who have completed M.B.B S are eligible for Combined Medical services (CMS). Final year students who are awaiting results can also apply.
Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to take up this examination.

Combined Medical services (CMS) examination Results 2012

UPSC Combined Medical services (CMS) 2012 results have been declared. CMS 2012 was held in June 2012. Candidates can check out for results at http://www.upsc.gov.in/exams/written-results/cms/2012/cms2012_enghindi.pdf.
Documents to be submitted for personality test and Interview

Qualified Candidates are required to submit detailed application form (DAF) and submit this online. DAF or the detailed application form will be available on the website of the commission till 5th October 2012. Only candidates who have qualified the personality test are scheduled for a personal Interview. Interview dates are tentatively scheduled to commence from 29th Oct 2012.

What is Combined Medical services (CMS) examination?
Combined Medical services (CMS) exam is conducted by the UPSC or the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment as Medical Officers in various organizations coming under the Government of India. UPSC Medical examination will be held at various centers across the country.
Notification of CMS examination is usually published in the month of September and the examination is conducted in January. CMS examination is an objective type written test of two hours duration.

CDS Syllabus
The standard of elementary mathematics will be as per class 10th level. General Knowledge and English test follow the regular norms and all the questions are objective type with multiple choices. There is a test of intelligence and personality traits during SSB interview with group activities and group discussion.

CDS Results 
CDS Results are announced by the Union Public Service Commission and candidates who are declared successful in the written examination will be detailed for intelligence and personality test at the Service Selection Board based on their preference.
