Staff Selection Commission undertakes
a combined all India open examination for the recruitment of Junior
Translators (CSOLs)/ Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices).
The examination contains 2 parts,
PART-I is a written Exam that carries 400 marks. This paper would test language
and literature knowledge of graduation level in both Hindi and English. The
hold on grammar and vocabulary is must to ace the exam. The comprehension
passages are also tested in which translation of an English passage need
to be written in Hindi and vice-versa. Whereas, PART-II is a Personality Test
round in which Interview is taken carrying 100 Marks.
The
level of competition will be pretty high, considering the fact that this exam
will be held at an all India level. You must be prepared to face the
competition. Therefore, it becomes important to know the type of questions that
are asked in the exam. You can familiarize yourself with the topics covered in
